Mourning Dove - species 170. With all the eurasian collared doves showing up in the last few years I've worn through a set of brake pads stopping to check every dove perched on a wire. My usual spot near Martindale flats had yet to turn one up. A tip from a fellow birder finally got me the first Mourning Dove of the year, 1km from my spot.
