Cougar comes calling
Cougar interrupts my pygmy owl shoot. I had come across a Northern Pygmy Owl calling high atop a tree when a different call rang out across the forest. To say it was alarming would a dramatic understatement This lady was calling out for a mate as she wandered up the trail in the valley bottom. I have seen them on a couple of occasions, tracks a handful of other times but I am still hoping for a real photo opportunity, hopefully this will be the year
