Western Kingbird - species 161 for the year. A rarity on the island it looks like we have a nesting pair raising three young in the Cowichan Valley. I was lucky to arrive a few minutes before a big storm front moved in and able to catch a few shots as the wind picked up. Hopefully tomorrows forecast will end up being what they say for once this month, and I will get a chance to try again.
