Red-necked Phalarope species 164 I was In town to pick up the new Backyard Birds of the West Posters, and figured to stop by Ogden Point to see if I could finally find the Wandering Tattler that has been seen the last few weeks. As I walked to the breakwater I noticed a small bird bouncing around in the surf and instantly recoginized it as a Phalarope. The dark grey overcast skies and pounding surf made the shooting conditions a bit tough but i still managed some shots I am happy with.
