Pine Siskins are frequent visitors to many backyard bird feeders. They are generally found
in small to medium sized flocks. Like Goldfinches they are particularily fond of the
small black ‘nyjer’ seed, that their small pointed bills are adept at opening. Susceptible to
salmonella, it is extremely important to keep your feeders clean if you have Pine Siskins
frequenting your backyard
